Citizens of many countries — including the UK, US, EU, GCC and dozens more — receive free entry or a visa on arrival, typically valid for 30 or 90 days. You'll get a stamp at immigration with no paperwork required.
Applying in advance
If your nationality isn't eligible for on-arrival entry, you can apply for an e-visa online or through your airline (Emirates and Etihad both offer this) before you fly. Processing usually takes a few working days.
What you'll need
A passport valid for at least six months, a return or onward ticket, and proof of accommodation. Always confirm the latest requirements for your passport with an official source close to your travel date.
